The North Wales Circuit covered the three counties of Anglesey, Caernarfon and Merioneth. The Great Sessions, as they were called rather than Assizes in Wales, were held twice a year at Beaumaris (for Anglesey), Caernarfon or Conway for Caernarfon and at Dolgelly or Bala for Merioneth. Death sentences and executions were rare events in these counties, a total of 14 confirmed executions and 2 possible ones, having been recorded.
There were 5 confimed and 1 possible execution on the Island of Anglesey.
Caernarvon had 9 confirmed executions.
