221 death sentences led to 38 hangings, with probably another 8 where no reprieves have been traced. Unless otherwise shown, they were carried out at Bodmin. Lent assizes were always held at Launceston as were the summer assizes in 1735, 1736, 1737 and 1752. Summer assizes (except in the four above-mentioned years) were held at Bodmin.
